At Eshbal, young people find a place to belong. In our kennel and stable, they also discover what it means to be needed. Feeding, listening, showing up — small acts of care become a daily practice of trust and responsibility.
Our dogs and horses are part of that story. The stable and kennel are already active. Now we’re raising $500,000 for a protected room, practical learning and a sustainable future for the whole center.

YOUNG PEOPLE. DOGS. HORSES.
Growing together.
When young people care for animals, they discover new possibilities in themselves.
The Kennel
♡
A second chance. For both of them.
Abandoned dogs find care, routine and a warm temporary home. Young people help train them for adoption — learning patience, communication and the power of giving along the way.
Care becomes responsibility.
The Stable
↗
Trust isn’t taught. It’s built together.
A horse asks for presence, patience and clear communication. Through riding and daily care, young people practice confidence, boundaries and trust — one relationship at a time.
Connection becomes confidence.

EDUCATORS AND YOUNG PEOPLE AT ESHBALA community. A home. A place to begin again.
ABOUT ESHBAL
A community. A home.
Eshbal is a kibbutz of educators in the Galilee, part of Dror Israel. For young people who live here, it offers a caring residential community and the opportunity for a fresh start.
The center grows out of that everyday life. Dedicated educators, shared responsibility and meaningful relationships surround the work with dogs and horses. Learning continues beyond a session in the stable or kennel.

A whole community. Showing up, every day.
